We are endowed and empowered to do extraordinarily effective Ministry!

The New Light Missionary Baptist Church members, family, and friends will honor Reverend and Mrs. Cardes H. Brown, Jr. on their 37th Pastoral Anniversary on February 24-26.  The sign-up sheets and tickets for events will be available immediately after each service in the fellowship hall. 

The Marriage Ministry will be sponsoring the Sweetheart's Ball - The Languages of Love on Saturday, February 11th from 6 pm til 10 pm.  All married and engaged couples are invited to come out and enjoy a night of dedicated to enhancing and expressing their love language.  The event will include dinner, dancing, door prizes, a silent auction, photographs, and rose flowers. The Sweetheart's Ball is FREE to attend!  Couples are asked to sign up in the old Fellowship Hall following either of the Sunday morning worship services.  So save the date and come out to enjoy The Languages of Love!

 

March with the NAACP at the 6th Annual HKonJ  People's Assembly in Raleigh!  Gather on Saturday, February 11th at 9:30 am at Shawn University.  Go to www.hkonj.com for more information.

On Sunday, February 19th at 2:30 pm, The New Light Missionary Baptist Church Family is invited to accompany Pastor Brown to the installation service for our own, Reverend George Harris at New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church located at 1901 Spenser Street here in the city of Greensboro.
